NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE IN WORKING HOURS
TransGrid is the owner, operator and manager of the high voltage electricity network for NSW. The Gullen Range Wind Farm (the Project) requires connection to this high voltage network.
Works to dismantle two existing transmission towers adjacent to the Project and the construction and erection of replacement towers is required during a period known as an outage.
The Project has been granted Approval under Land & Environment Court condition 2.9 to vary the working hours of the project in order to carry out essential works on the 330kV electricity
network.
During the period 20th May 2013 to 29th May 2013 the working hours for this work to be undertaken are:
- 5am to 10pm Monday to Saturday
- No Works on Sunday
No impacts are expected to the electricity supply in the area.
The Project is committed to minimising the impacts of construction on the community and will implement a number of mitigation measures to reduce any potential impact of the works including:
- directional lighting
- minimising use of machinery
- traffic management and control.

Road upgrade works are due to commence on the local road network. Maps of the areas being upgraded are provided in the links below. Updates and information on the progress of these works are available in the newsletter along with the weekly updates which will be posted here.

Kialla Road Upgrade Works
Works to upgrade the Kialla Road in preparation for the
delivery of turbine components will commence on Tuesday 12th March
2013.
Road works will last for approximately 6 weeks and delays
may be encountered on this road. Construction hours will be limited to 7am – 6pm
Monday to Friday and 8am – 1pm Saturday (no works on Sunday or during a public
holiday).

Community Enhancement Program Public Exhibition
The Gullen Wind Farm Community Enhancement Program (CEP), developed in consultation with the Upper Lachlan Shire Council and Goulburn Mulwaree Council, is now available for public comment.
The aim of the CEP is to enhance the community’s quality of life and wellbeing.
The CEP will provide benefits to the community through a Clean Energy Program and Community Fund.
